I’ve been a mem­ber of The Cen­ter Club since 1993. Suzanne has been my Yoga instruc­tor here since she arrived. I’m famil­iar with her classes through daily inter­ac­tion. I stayed away from Yoga for years because it seemed a lit­tle too “New Age” for me. I was way wrong! Yoga is “All Age” and for me that is espe­cially impor­tant since I’m over 60. Work­ing with Suzanne has taught me that Yoga can help keep me lim­ber and best of all well bal­anced phys­i­cally. Once you pass age 25, bal­ance skills start to dete­ri­o­rate and those over 60 risk falling if they don’t work on exer­cises to improve this impor­tant skill. Yoga helps to do this. Another plus for seniors is that Suzanne explains every move and gen­tly cor­rects you. I never feel that I will throw some­thing out of whack in one of her classes.
